Template: Item[]

  • Now that additions of Items are underway, I think we need to establish some sort of a working template in order to promote standardization. With such standardization, it will be easier for users to find information on, or even compare, items from the game. Required information would be the name (obviously), magical effects (if any), value, and weight. Beyond those, there is also room for potential background information, such as the item's origin. --glued2thePC
    • For a potential example, have a look at this template I have thrown together for Items: Item Template --glued2thePC

Organization of Consumable Items[]

I'm wondering how we should organize potions vs. drinks and food vs. ingredients. Drinks and beverages such as ale and mead are considered potions, so should we have it linked from potions, as well as a quick reference table to the different drinks found? The same applies to food, such as bread and apple, as they are technically ingredients.

That way, we'd simply have two main alchemical categories:

  • Potions, with links to actual beneficial potions (and negative poisons), as well as a quick reference table to ale, mead, wine, etc.
    • (Or alternatively, poisons could have its own main section)
  • Ingredients, which already contains food, meat, and all plants

Artifacts[]

Surely we need something here on artifacts?

Downloads[]

This article is for a description of all the in-game items, not for Item ID's. Also, we already have a Item IDs article that is in the Cheats section so I don't see why this is necessary. \*\ Hellhound43 22:53, 27 September 2006 (CDT)

It's probably not, beside if you have the TES Construction kit you already have this list. Not to mention that direct hotlinking to a file hosted on someone elses' server is somewhat rude... --William Blackstaff 06:05, 28 September 2006 (CDT)
Agreed, section removed. Internal link to Item IDs added in See Also section. \*\ Hellhound43 08:04, 28 September 2006 (CDT)

Nice, Expencive, and Highly Enchanted[]

At about what level do you begin to get the best of the possible items?--Skober 00:38, 9 January 2007 (CST)

Around level 30+ (none of the leveled items that I can think of have an entry that is higher than level 30), and you will start to get glass and daedric items if you haven't already. \*\ Hellhound43 00:45, 9 January 2007 (CST)

10 levels to go then. Thanks --Skober 00:49, 9 January 2007 (CST)

Tan Robe[]

Is it possibe to get a Tan Robe??? (It seems to only be worn by NPC associated with quests)(I'm a 360 user by the way)--Skober 06:49, 11 January 2007 (CST)

I'm sure you could. Try some clothing stores. I'll check the construction set later and see if there is anywhere in particular you can obtain one. \*\ Hellhound43 15:15, 11 January 2007 (CST)
